Heat the butter in a large sauté pan over medium-low heat. Add the haricot vert, 1 teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper, toss and cover to cook for 3-5 minutes. Add the sliced almonds and tarragon and cook for 1 minute more to toast the almonds a bit, tossing again. Serve warm or at room temperature.
